Biography
Robyn Ashley is an award-winning vocalist and artist from Edmonton, Alberta, leading the charge in her self-identified genre of Sparkle Rock—a bright fusion of rock, pop, and modern-day country defined by powerful vocals, emotional depth, and electrifying live performances. Together with her band, Robyn delivers an authentic, full-throttle show that has become her signature across Western Canada’s music scene.

Her debut EP Everything’s Changed (September 2025) captures the warmth, power, and clarity she brings to both the stage and the studio. The project features her latest singles “Good For Me” and “Which Piece Do I Follow,” alongside the fan-favourite anthem “Chasing Red Lights,” which continues to anchor her sound and energize audiences.

Lead Vocals & Band Leader
Robyn is the radiant force at the heart of the Robyn Ashley Band. A powerhouse vocalist from Edmonton, AB, she's been singing since she could talk — and hasn’t stopped since. With formal vocal training beginning at age eight, her love of music runs deep, and her voice brings every lyric to life with clarity and conviction.

Robyn leads with passion, heart, and a deep respect for collaboration — always making space for her bandmates to shine. She’s fueled by vanilla lattes, long drives with friends, and spontaneous singalongs (which, honestly, happen daily). Family and community are at the core of everything she does, and her current musical obsession? The hit musical Six.

As the band’s leader and creative anchor, Robyn brings bold vocals, emotional storytelling, and a sparkly kind of soul that turns every show into something special.

Cameron Stav
Rhythm Guitar
Cameron is the rhythm guitar player for the Robyn Ashley Band, bringing both passion and professionalism to his craft. Playing guitar since he was nine, Cameron’s deep love for music spans all genres, and his creativity shines through in every note he plays.
​
Beyond the stage, Cameron is an experienced live performance audio recording engineer and producer, playing a crucial role behind the scenes to ensure the band sounds its best. A true team player, he supports the work that often goes unseen but is vital to every show’s success.
​
Outside of music, Cameron enjoys fishing and cherishes time with his family. Always up for a new challenge, he’s currently focused on mastering the art of street luge, adding an exciting edge to his adventurous spirit.

Isaac Carter
Bass Player & Music Director
Isaac is the bass player for the Robyn Ashley Band, bringing his deep musical expertise as a studio musician, producer, and songwriter to the group. Coming from a big family, Isaac’s personality beautifully balances between moments of quiet introspection and bursts of outgoing energy, making him both thoughtful and dynamic. Oh - and Isaac is insanely funny!

As the band’s music director, Isaac plays a crucial role in arranging songs and shaping the band’s overall sound. Beyond his instrumental talents, he is a trusted mentor and leader, guiding the group through every musical aspect with care and vision.

Dean Pierno
Drums & Percussion
Dean Pierno is the seasoned drummer and percussionist of the Robyn Ashley Band, bringing over 45 years of professional music experience to the group. His impressive career includes performances with legends like Tommy Banks, Gary Guthman, the Harry James Tribute, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and even Dan Aykroyd—just to name a few.

With more than 35 studio recordings under his belt, Dean continues to be a sought-after studio musician and live performer in the Edmonton area. When he’s not behind the kit or in the studio, you’ll find Dean fishing or soaking in the peace of nature—camping is his ultimate escape.

Known affectionately as the “band dad,” Dean brings steady leadership and a sense of humor that keeps the band grounded and connected.
Jacob Whittle
Lead Guitar
Jacob is the lead guitar player of the Robyn Ashley Band, bringing over 20 years of experience and a degree from the MacEwan Music Program to every performance. Known for his jaw-dropping talent and passion, Jacob makes sure every guitar lead is either instantly recognizable or carefully crafted from scratch—always delivering musical excellence.
Offstage, Jacob is an adrenaline junkie who loves diving into dystopian books and movies, and thrives on outdoor thrills like snowboarding, mountain biking, and cliff jumping. His adventurous spirit fuels the energy he brings to the band, making every show unforgettable.
